Launched by noted producer Angela Guice in Hollywood in 2005, the agency specializes in the conception, production, and post production of promotional campaigns, including live action shoots, promos, upfront presentations, websites, and mobile delivery, for television networks, programs, and telefilms, theatrical film and home entertainment releases, and multi-media corporations and their products.
During the course of the past five years, NuContext Creative has earned a stellar reputation within the marketing industry for crafting award-winning promotional television and/or advertising campaigns. The agency’s experienced creative team, under Angela’s supervision, works closely with each of its clients to help them conceive, implement and realize their vision. The agency provides the writing, direction, production and post production for live action promo shoots, as well as full-service editorial, motion graphics, and audio post. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment located under one roof, the NuContext team plays a critical role — from concept to final layoff—in the lifespan of each client project.

Angela Guice
Advertising runs in Angela Guice’s blood — literally. The daughter of a prominent Mississippi adman, Angela first appeared in a TV commercial at the tender age of three, raking leaves in a promotional spot for a local bank. For the next seven years, she appeared in numerous other spots, finally “retiring” from
in-front-of-the-camera work at 10.
Today, Angela stands as one of the leading female entrepreneurs in the television promotional marketing industry. As founder and executive producer of Hollywood’s award-winning NuContext Creative, she has quickly earned a reputation for creative excellence, an upbeat spirit and a “Can Do” attitude. With a proven track record of delivering fresh, innovative marketing campaigns targeted at the pulse of today’s varied audiences, Angela is renowned for enabling her clients to fulfill their creative visions.
Angela’s philosophy of not treating her clients as “just clients” but instead as partners that develop into long-lasting relationships has proven itself highly successful. Phrases such as “Highly Collaborative”…”Amazing Spirit”… “Terrific”…and “Infectious Energy” flow from the mouths of even high ranking media executives with whom she works. Truly the embodiment of a highly collaborative creative partner, Angela and her team are literally considered “in-house” by their clientele.
Born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi, Guice studied radio, television and film at the University of Southern Mississippi, and, later, filmmaking at UCS’s famed film school. Joining the renowned, Hollywood, CA-based entertainment marketing agency AUTONOMY in 2000, Guice quickly rose the company ladder from Night Scheduling Assistant to Associate Producer to Supervising Producer. During her five years with AUTONOMY, Guice produced numerous television marketing campaigns for a number of high profile clients including Discovery Channel, Lifetime Television, Fox Movie Channel and here! TV.
A pioneer in the early days of integrated marketing and branded entertainment, Angela directed, produced and created a series of “showmercials” for Procter and Gamble and Kraft Foods targeted at women and airing on Lifetime Television. “Life on the Beach,” promoting the South Beach Diet line of foods by Kraft won a 2005 Kraft Global Media Award and an Effie for Guice.
Since launching NuContext, a multi-award winning, entertainment marketing agency in 2005, Angela has counted such prominent broadcasters as Lifetime, USA Networks, Disney Channel, Syfy, Fuse, Lifetime Movie Network, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, Teen Nick, Universal HD, Chiller, SoapNet, IFC, Sleuth, The Hub, and Rainbow Media as her clients.
During the past 10 years, Angela and her team have also worked closely with a veritable “Who’s Who” of major Hollywood celebrities. Among these have been such notables as Jennifer Anniston, Gerard Butler, Will Ferrell, Kate Hudson, Jack Black, Robin Williams, Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Affleck, Anne Hathaway, Denzel Washington, Adam Sandler, Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers, to name just some.
Angela counts as highlights such NuContext campaigns as: Disney Channel promos for Hannah Montana, Camp Rock 2 and The Jonas Brothers; promos for a variety of Syfy original movies; on-air promos, ad sales sponsored promos, celebrity stunt weekends, and award winning “Characters Welcome” branded campaigns for USA Network; on air promos for both Lifetime and the Lifetime Movie Network, including live action, graphics, episodics, and original movie launches; and dozens of “Celebrity Hosted” weekend promo spots, tied in with the launches of prominent feature films by major movie studios.
In her spare time, Angela, a member of both the Promax/BDA trade association and Women in Film/Los Angeles, enjoys travel, hiking, photography and art collecting. Her father, Reed, is the longtime owner of the noted Guice Agency in Biloxi, MS. An advertising and public relations company, The Guice Agency has represented such prominent clients as Donald Trump, the Mississippi Tourism Board, various political figures, and environmental causes.
